I’m a drummer and composer striving to add joy and positive energy to people’s lives through music. With my dependable, versatile, and energetic style, I aim to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where people can let loose, dance, and have a great time. I’m known as an easy-going studio and performance drummer who always puts my heart and soul into every beat. I pay close attention to each individual instrument in the band, and center each note around them, with my fills always crafted in direct response to the music.
When it comes to songwriting, I draw inspiration from some incredible artists. Bob Dylan is a huge influence of mine, along with The Beatles and Gordon Lightfoot. “Bitter Sweet Symphony” by The Verge has always been particularly influential to me, there’s something about how it weaves emotion and melody that really speaks to my approach to music.
You can find me performing in and around Boston including The Lansdowne Pub, The Lily Pad in Cambridge, Warehouse XI in Somerville, and many more. My musical influences include greats such as Clyde Austin Stubblefield, Zigaboo Modeliste, Steve Gadd, and Charlie Parker.
